Laser Hair reduction

Laser hair reduction uses energy that is selectively absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle and is then converted to heat that injures the follicle. Most hair is permanently reduced. Any hair that does regrow is finer and lighter than before.

This treatment only works on darker hair, as the laser works by targeting pigment in the hair. Therefore, the darker the hair, the better the results. Red, blonde, and grey hairs are not a candidate for this treatment.

IPL (Intense pulsed light)

IPL can be used to treat acne, vascular lesions, pigment, and for skin rejuvenation. This treatment is also known as a photofacial.

IPL works by using specially selected wavelengths of light to penetrate the skin, where the light is then converted to heat, destroying the intended vessel or lesion. Our bodies then remove the damaged tissue.

Q-Switched Laser Tattoo Removal

The Q-Switched laser quickly emits short, high-power pulses, producing a pulsed beam of light. This high-powered pulse of light effectively breaks up the tattoo ink into particles which can then be eliminated by the patient's own immune system.

This laser treatment only works on dark and black ink. Light or bright colors will not be picked up by this laser.

We can also use this laser to treat some hyper-pigmented lesions.
